    Description

    Here is a beautiful antique
    GRIFFIN, SMITH & HILL ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA DISH/BOWL
    in the shape of a GRAPE LEAF.
    It is approximately 8 1/4" x 8 3/4" by 1 3/4" deep. GSH was in
    operation in Phoenixville , PA from 1870-1892. It has their
    impressed mark on the back. Note, that there are places also
    on the underside, where the glaze did not take. Pictures #9-#11
    show chips and nicks which really are not that major. This is a
    lovely piece of Etruscan majolica to add to a collection.
    It is also the perfect dish for serving grapes.
