ANTIQUE H & R MFG "s.n.93” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1890**

Description

This “s.n.93” cap gun was made in 1890 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 197 (s.n.93). This cap gun is 5 3/8 inches in length. The body of the cap gun appears to be wood with metal covering and the grip cast iron. It is a single shot, single action, and uses a wooden peg which is not included. The decorative grip, in the form of a loop, is hollow and shows fading, The trigger releases the hammer to fire. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
