    Description

This "BUFFALO BILL" cap gun was made in 1923 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 23 (B42.2.2). This cap gun is 11 3/8 inches in length. The gun is a single shot, single action, which means only one cap can be shot without reloading. It takes a single cap and has a cylinder which doesn't rotate. The words "BUFFALO BILL" are clearly embossed on both sides of the barrel, and a circled "S" on the left side of the grip, and a circled "W" and PAT SEPT 11-23 on the right side of the grip. This gun is a silver cap gun in very good condition, but the finish does show some fading . Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
"This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
