ANTIQUE KENTON “SHEIK” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1929**

Description

This “SHEIK” cap gun was made in 1929 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 132 (S16.1) This cap gun is 10 1/2 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. On the left side of the cap gun, the word “SHEIK” and a circled “S” are clearly embossed on the decorative grip; and on the right side of the grip it has the words "PAT SEPT 11-23" and a circled “W." This is a heavy solid cap gun. It does show some surface rust in the cap chamber, but overall is a beautiful show piece. Please refer to the pictures.
