    Description

This Kenton “WILD WEST” cap gun was made in 1926 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 170 (W9.2.1) This cap gun is also shown on Page 158 of Charles Best Book "CAST IRON TOY PISTOLS." This cap gun is 11 1/2 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single, mammoth cap and has a cylinder which doesn't rotate. On the left side top of the grip, the words “WILD WEST” and a circled "S" are clearly embossed. On the right side it has a circled "W" and other marking "PAT SEPT 11-23." This gun does show some slight fading of the finish, but is in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
"This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
