ANTIQUE KILGORE “INVINCIBLE” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1930

Description

This “INVINCIBLE” cap gun was made in 1930. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 74 (I5.2.1). This cap gun is 6 1/2 inches in length. It takes a roll of caps. It is a multi shot, double action, which means more than one shot can be fired before reloading, and pulling the trigger cocks and fires the toy. It has a cylinder which doesn’t rotate. A circled "K" is embossed on both sides of the cap gun, and the word "INVINCIBLE".is embossed on the body of the left side of the cap gun. The words 'MADE IN U.S.A., PAT. APPLD FOR" are engraved on the body of the right side of the gun. This silver cap gun is in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
