This Kilgore “TRAPPER” cap gun was made in 1935 with a
one star
rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 157 (T33.1
)

This cap gun is 4 1/2 inches in length
.
The words "TRAPPER
"  and
the circled letter "K" are embossed on both sides of the gun. Pulling the trigger cocks and fires the toy
.
This silver cap gun is in very good condition
.  The plate on the bottom of the handle can be removed to store caps in the handle grip.
