    Description

    Here we have a corn shaped majolica pitcher that seems to have quite a bit of age. Marked on the bottom simply 44, This pitcher is 6 1/8 inches tall. The leaves are a greenish brown and the main body is yellow. There is some chipping along the inside of the rim and a hairline that goes through a bit but not all of the way. Not unusual as majolica has a reputation as being a soft pottery. This piece displays well and although should not be used as a pitcher, would make a great display piece.
