    Description

    Antique Majolica Shell Dish With a Putti and a Serpent Base.  This piece measures 7" high to the top of the head of the putti. This piece is not marked by its maker.  There is damage to the base as you can see in the photos.  It has been broken and re-glued.  There also is a chip to the tip of the shell and a stress line on the body of the putti.  A good candidate for a professional restoration.         If you have any questions please ask.  I will combine shipping when possible.
