    Description

    This large 11 and 1/2 inch plate features a fruit design overall and is in excellent condition with the exception of one tiny edge flake (see the second photo for a closeup).
    Information about the Sarraguemines Pottery which was established in 1784 appears on page 111 of the reference, MAJOLICA by Victoria Bergeson, along with a photo of a similar plate.
    Marked on the back with a backstamp PV and MADE IN FRANCE it comes from my huge collection of Majolica.  I can't display it all and am downsizing some of my pieces so check my other listings.
