    Description

    This VOLUNTEER cap gun was made in 1873 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 165(V7.1.1) with a 3 star rating for rarity. This cap gun is 5 inches in length.. The word VOLUNTEER is clearly embossed on the left side of the toy gun and PAT APR 22 73 on the right side. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. This cap gun does show some fading but is in very good condition.
