ANTIQUE STEVENS “6 SHOT” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1895***

Description

This “6 SHOT” cap gun was made in 1895 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 128 (S2.1.3) This cap gun is 6 3/4 inches in length. The gun has a cylinder which doesn't rotate. It takes a single small cap, it is a multi shot, double action, which means pulling the trigger cocks and fires the toy. On the left side of the gun the word “6 SHOT" is clearly embossed and on the right side the words PAT'D USA JAN.22 1895. This gun is in excellent condition, both sides of the gun have beautiful scroll work.  Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
