    Description

This Stevens “PLUCK” cap gun was made in 1895 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 112 (P17.1.1). This cap gun is 3 1/2 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single small cap. The word "PLUCK" is clearly embossed on the left side of the cap gun, and "PAT MAR 22 JUN 17 9 USA" on the right side of the cap gun. When pulling the hammer back, it automatically fires when released. The hammer does not stay in the cocked position. This cap gun is steel grey and in excellent "showroom" appearance..
Please refer to the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
"This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
