ANTIQUE STEVENS “BANG-O” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1938

Description

This BANG-O cap gun was made in 1938. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 10(B5.1.1). This cap gun is 7 1/2 inches in length. It is a multi shot, double action, which means more than one shot can be fired before reloading. It takes a roll of caps. The gun has a cylinder which doesn’t rotate. Pulling the trigger cocks and fires the toy. The word “BANG-O” is clearly embossed on both sides of the gun and on left side of grip it has a horse head and black jewel, and on right side of grip a cowboy head and black jewel. There is decorative scroll work on the barrel. This is a heavy solid cap gun in good condition.

This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug.
