ANTIQUE STEVENS “COWBOY” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1930**

Description

This Stevens “COWBOY” cap gun was made in 1930 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 40 (C24.3). This cap gun is 12 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single cap. This toy gun has a cylinder which doesn’t rotate. The name “COWBOY” is clearly embossed on the left side of the toy gun and MADE IN USA on the right side of the gun.
This gun is in very good condition, but appears it might have been painted brown. Please refer to the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
