ANTIQUE STEVENS "s.n.79" CAST IRON CAP GUN 1876***

Description

This Stevens "s.n. 79" cap gun was made in 1876 with a three star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 194(s.n.79). This cap gun is 4 3/8 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single small cap and does not have a cylinder.
This gun shows some fading but is in good condition. You manually pull the hammer back and pull the trigger to fire the gun. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
