    Description

This Stevens “VICTORY” cap gun was made in 1880 with a three star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 165 (V4.1). This cap gun is 5 3/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. The word “VICTORY”is clearly embossed on the left side of the gun and a circled decorative flower is clearly embossed on both sides of the gun. Pulling the hammer releases the trigger to fire the gun. This gun is in very good condition with the exception it is missing the trigger guard which does not affect the firing of this gun. (The trigger guard is also missing in the picture of this same gun in Sam Logan's book noted above.) Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
"This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
