    Antique Victorian Salins French Majolica Joan of Arc Jeanne d'Arc Plate c1890
    "A beautiful tribute plate to Jeanne d'Arc or Joan of Arc. The lovely thing about this plate is that it started to be made in 1890, which was years before she was officially declared a saint. This plate is attributed to Salins, but is unmarked. It is also often attributed to Onnaing, but one of my French majolica reference books states it as being from Salins.
    The border has a stunning celadon green background, the center is cream colored and there are green and honey colored decorations. She stands with the flag in front of a grey chateau."
