ANTIQUE “MORDT” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1932**

Description

This “MORDT” cap gun was made in 1932 with a 2 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 96 (M19.1.1). This cap gun is 8 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a mammoth cap and has a cylinder which doesn’t rotate. The word MORDT is circled on both sides of the grip. The black finish shows signs of fading on the barrel, but this is a heavy solid gun in very good condition. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
