    pcs  Deruta smooth edges 20 cm ( appr.8'') plates in one of the finest Vario - Geometrico Deruta available,please note the fine details and the richest of color. It is completely made and painted by hand by Mastro Carlo in Deruta. When I say made by hand I mean that each piece is not just hand painted but it is individually hand crafted.They are

    , in mint conditions - no chips, cracks or crazing,the white MARK ARE DO TO THE CAMERA FLASH.

    Each of the 2 plates measure 20 cm  ( appr.8''), really a good size as SALAD- DESSERT OR LUNCHNON PLATES  but whay not also to hang on the wall.

    While you are buying a piece of Deruta pottery, please make sure that the piece is signed under glaze on the bottom (NO STICKERS!!!). This, at the moment, is the only way to guarantee that it is really made in Italy and not somewhere else. My pieces, of course, are all hand signed under glaze by the artist.

    Mastro Carlo is known in Deruta as one of the most talented artisans of the village, he is specialized in the "geometrico" or "vario" pattern. He started painting very young and made all his experience in the famous factory known all over the world under the name of Mari. In 1980 he opened his own studio, from that moment he started giving to our customer the very best Deruta Pottery, that means larges collections of Deruta dinnerware and decorative pieces in the "geometrico" pattern.
