Escondido Mutual Water Company stock certificate dated Sep. 15, 1943, B1956

Description

Escondido Mutual Water Company, Stock Certificate, B Issue, size 8 ½” x 11” in used condition, with signatures and stamps and cancellations, folds, marks, holes and rips. Printed on both sides, with a beautiful image of a flaming torch on one side with ornate borders, and an ornate border on the other side. The Escondido Mutual Water Company, Escondido, California, was incorporated May 9, 1905.  A real piece of Escondido history!
This classic certificate is numbered B1956, dated Sep. 145, 1943, for 220 shares issued to Clyde W. Rowlinson and Corinne M. Rowlinson.  Another document is pasted to one side of the stock, transferring the stock to Homer B. Millmand and Isabelle L. Millman.  There are lots of signatures all over, including the Rowlinsons and “Wohlford” as President of the Water Company.
