    Description

    Offered here is a seldom encountered Winchester 5 Panel Advertising Set that remains in excellent original condition with bright vibrant colors, no rips or tears and has been professionally framed for wall hanging.  Each panel (frame) measures 41 1/8" x 19 5/8".  All panels are original and dated at top week of March 20-26 (1924).  The entire 5 panels set features "Split Bamboo Rods".   An exact example of this panel set can be found in David D. Kowalski's book "Winchester Rarities", page 142 indicating these panels are two sided.   However, since the professional framing, the reverse panels are not now visible and no attempt was made to uncover the reverse panels.   At some point, since framing, the panels have been examined and re-sealed with brown shipping tape (see pics).   If these came in the oak frames as displayed in Kowalski's book, then these too are not present.  The panels are 100% original Winchester 1920's  productions.   A superb example of the rich Winchester history of post WW I that can be exactly dated to March of 1924.   The condition and scarcity of this 5 panel set make it a superior investment opportunity, in addition to being a quite aesthetically pleasing game room or "man cave" decoration.    I am not an expert in this area, please ask questions.  (Slot-2-10651)
