This is a very beautiful majolica sugar bowl and it was most likely made by one of the English companies, Banks and Thorley. Since it is unmarked, we shall leave it to you to decide. This sugar bowl is in excellent and clean condition. It has no chip, crack or repair except a couple of about ¼” tight hairlines (or crazing) to its rim which were hand touched up by a studio artist and hardly noticeable. Like most antique majolica, it has some minute discoloration and crazing.
