This is an exceptionally beautiful majolica English sardine box with a couple of sardines as its handle on its lid, ca. 1880s. The entire sardine box is in excellent and vivid condition as I did not find any chip, crack or repair. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and discoloration especially inside the box. Please disregard the lighting glares.
