This is a beautiful Etruscan Seaweed and Shell humidor. According to the consignor's purchase records from an auction, the humidor has no chip but it has a professional restoration/touch-up to a very tight hairline. (Please look at the pictures). The lid is being offered in
AS IS
because it has a replaced shell and also repairs another shell. Please look at the last few enlarged pictures. It is still a rare Etruscan majolica to collect and display. Since we did not supervise the restoration, this majolica pitcher is being offered in as is. If you have any question, please ask before bidding on it.
Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and discoloration commensurate with age. Please disregard the lighting glares.
