    This is a very nice George Jones majolica compote with beautiful strawberry flowers and leaves on a vivid George Jones's classical turquoise ground. It is also in excellent condition as I did not find any chip, crack or repair. This majolica is absolutely gorgeous and a great George Jones majolica to collect. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and discoloration. Please disregard the lighting glares.
