Beautiful and Old Majolica RARE WEDGWOOD Figural Oval Compote with Hummingbird, 10 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 3 5/8"H (bottom is 5 1/4" x 3 1/2")  approx.

This is a nice & desirable Wedgwood oval compote with woman's faces on lower body and decorated with a Hummingbird, a Butterfly and Flowers. It is in excellent condition as I did not find any chip, crack or repair. Marked WEDGWOOD/AOA (made in April 1872).
Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and very minute discoloration which are being mentioned solely for a complete record.
