Rare Antique Majolica Pottery James Carr Vase New York 1890s art nouveau NY
Up for auction is this beautiful majolica vase. I purchase this at a very fine estate. The gentleman there told me it was made by James Carr, a pottery maker, in the 1890s. It does have a chip in the glaze on the top. Refer to photos. It has some imperfections. Refer to photos. Looks like there’s writing on the bottom but I can’t make it out.
Sold as is, as shown in photos. Pre-owned. Chip in glaze on top. Has some issues. Refer to photos.
A very cool piece!
Measures roughly 11 1/2” tall x 4 3/8” wide across top. Roughly 6 1/2” wide at widest point.
