DESCRIPTION
These are two original, very limited sets of press releases/photos for The Doors’ 1985 home video release Dance on Fire.  The press releases are taped to the backs of the photos, which were taken at the west coast and east coast release parties for the video.
The west coast one is on the left features the three surviving Doors with – for no good reason - Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time), James Widdoes (Charles in Charge), and Tony Dow (Leave It To Beaver).  At least Manzarek seems to be having fun.
The east coast photo features the surviving Doors with managers Ben Edmonds and Danny Sugarman.
The items come from an established media archive which prides itself on stocking only official editions of these often scarce press materials.
