I believe this Majolica game dish is a vintage copy of a much earlier dish. The covered dish is made to look like a basket covered in beautiful green leaves. The small feet look like tree trunks, the lid handle looks like a branch, and the lid has a rabbit, a duck, and a bird ready to be cooked. The inside of the dish is mottled blue. This dish is in excellent condition with exception of a tiny chip on the rim. Please see the pictures. It is hardly noticeable. This makes a great display piece.
